Bovine Slaughter
In its modern cold storage, Frigor receives, weighs, sorts and inspects cattle for compliance to regulations of SENASAG. Then selects and typify housings that will be distributed in different markets around the country.
To develop these activities, FRIGOR maintains:
- More than 4000 m2 of industrial infrastructure.
- Pens for up to 800 cattle.
- 12 Refrigerated storage chambers with a capacity for over 700 carcasses.
- More than 50 people on the slaughter line.
- Ability to process 400 cattle per day.
All of these provisions follow a standard production flow, from the septic area to the sterile area, to prevent cross contamination.
The cattle killing plant has veterinarians and technical inspectors to ensure the safety of the meat that will be distributed in the market.
In addition, it has areas of quality control, food safety, and monitoring inspection to ensure product safety throughout the process.
FRIGOR has sufficient infrastructure and equipment to provide a service of de-boning for third parties, depending on the customer's needs of either brands or types of deboning.
Our deboning plant is administered under international criteria and standards.
It has the corresponding Bolivian health authorizations, in addition to the authorization by SENASA PERU, which permits the export of beef to that country.
The deboning plant has two (2) facilities: production and packaging.
Processes used in the cooling tunnels, meat lockers, cold storage and refrigerated chambers, and the facilities themselves, meet the requirements of national and international sanitary authorization standards of meat export. This guarantees the processes and products generated by the company. Frigor has specialists in areas of animal origin, quality control, operational staff, and well-trained, experienced supervisors.
